One Executive Advisory Board

MERCERBRIDGE was retained at the beginning of 2024 by a global technology leader operating across Infrastructure, Cyber Security and emerging technology markets.

Working alongside the client’s in-house marketing team, the first brief was to create an invitation-only Executive Advisory Board in London for a carefully selected group of senior Infrastructure and Security decision-makers.

02
The turning point

The client asked MERCERBRIDGE to extend the model.

The first engagement worked well enough for the client to ask MERCERBRIDGE to take the model into further markets.

Executive Engagement Programmes

delivered to date across multiple international markets.

What began as one London advisory board is now an ongoing international programme for the same client.

Why senior executives choose to take part.

The programme is deliberately built around relevance rather than audience size.

01

Carefully selected audiences

Small groups of senior executives are chosen because their roles, experience and interests are relevant to the subject.

02

Peer-level discussion

Relevant peers and senior speakers sit around the same table, creating space for an open exchange rather than a one-way event.

03

Personal contact throughout

MERCERBRIDGE remains in contact from the initial invitation to the engagement itself, helping keep interest and commitment high.

Managed from the first brief to the final follow-up.

MERCERBRIDGE works alongside the client’s marketing team and manages the programme throughout.

One continuous relationship. From defining the audience and approaching senior executives through to programme delivery and follow-up.
01

Define and identify

Objectives, audience and format are agreed with the client’s in-house marketing team, before relevant senior decision-makers are identified and agreed.

02

Approach and engage

Prospective attendees are approached personally, with the relevance of the discussion clearly explained. MERCERBRIDGE then manages invitations, pre-event information and regular contact with confirmed attendees.

03

Deliver and follow up

MERCERBRIDGE coordinates venue selection, suppliers, attendee management and delivery on the day, followed by feedback, post-event communication and support for the relationships created through the programme.

Results

One programme became 35.

The strongest measure of the programme is that the client continued to commission it.

What began as a single Executive Advisory Board in London developed into an ongoing international programme for the same client.

35 programmes delivered
International multiple markets
Senior technology and security audiences
Ongoing relationship with the same client

The MERCERBRIDGE difference

Built on senior executive relationships.

The same relationship and engagement skills that underpin MERCERBRIDGE’s Executive Search work also sit behind these programmes.

More than 35 years of working with senior executives helps MERCERBRIDGE identify the right people, approach them credibly and understand what makes a conversation worth their time.

Programme management supports the process. The value starts with knowing who should be approached and giving them a good reason to take part.
